It's been a year since I started this photoblog. In spite of my brother's efforts, still the best photos I take are 100% pure accidents. But I started to like the feeling of having the camera at hand. One of this world's greatest photographers, Mr. Elliot Erwitt, said that a camera is sort of a "security blanket", only a lot more easily to have around. And this works for me, too.
I decided to do street photography while reading the site of Nitsa. I was over-satisfied to learn that no-rules photography (sort of what I was doing :p) was already invented and I only had to let it rule me.
As the winter was coming, and days got shorter, I started to use whatever light available. And after a while I noticed that my photos included a lot of shop windows, office scenes and trams. The trams became my favorite subject.
I sort of started to forget about my shyness when photographing strangers, although I still panic sometimes. I always take care there are people in my photos, however, they are not the whole issue. The context becomes more and more important.
